You may be thinking... $1000.00 dollars, i thought your nissan was reliable.
It is! I just had to replace some normal wear and tear that naturally occurs after a quarter million miles!.
Today I had new front brakes and rotors installed, new front end tie rods, new firestone front tires, a front left hub bering (courtesy of NJ potholes) and a PA State Inspection.
The work was done at my usual family mechanic Burnzys on Route 611 in the beautiful Poconos.
While it is hard to spend so much in one shot.. It will go a long way toward the next quarter million miles.

Welcome to Mike's Nissan Sentra
Wecome to Mike's Nissan Sentra.
A blog about my daily super-commute from PA to NYC in my Nissan Sentra. (100 miles each way)
My Nissan Sentra is just over 4 years old and has 225,600 miles as of June 26th, 2009. The car still looks and runs great! Reliable and efficient, aside from normal wear and tear, I just change the oil once a month or every four thousand miles. I have definately got my money's worth.
So why blog about a car?
Well, i was used to American cars before this one... breaking down every other month with another $200 bill. Spending more time and money with my Mechanic than my family. I am very pleasantly surprised to get a quarter million miles out of my Sentra in four years of commuting on tough roads and weather conditions. I wanted to share my story and update my whereabouts at major "mile"-stones...
So stay tuned and lets see how far I can take this car!
